How did I embark my journey in the field of information security

Hello all, this is my first post in this blog. In this post, I will let you know how I started my journey in the field of information security. I have started my journey long back in June, 2005, when I was searching for my final year B.E. project. My team members and I are inclined to work in the field of computer system. But, our project mentor Mr. Aniruddha Patwardhan has given us a direction to work in the field of information security. As he was expert in the field of wireless 802.11 a/b/g, he motivated us to work in this interesting field. After a careful study of a protocol, we understood underlying security issues in the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g protocol and decided to do our B.E. project in the field of wireless security.

This is how I have started my odyssey in the field of information security.
